once a certain english prime minister
was told the queen was not amused,
his answer was "i'm not a clown.
it's not my job to amuse anyone."
next morning it was in the news
in most of the papers on page one
people talked 'bout him, but he was clever,
so was the statement that he gave:
"they said the crown was not amused,
the crowd was not amused, i understood,
i'm sorry that i didn't give the queen
the respect that she earns!"
it did his work, most of the people
immediately changed minds. |
